Check Your Pulse – Build A Better Workplace
Tap into your most valuable asset – your employees
Ipsos is proud to announce the launch of Better Workplace Panels – an online research tool that enables your organization
to regularly conduct brief surveys among a custom panel of your own employees for a fraction of the cost of conventional approaches.
Build a Stronger Organization
While adopting national or industry-wide best practices regarding wellness are a start – your organization needs to
develop its own best practices, relevant to your staff.
This takes a dynamic tool capable of capturing the needs and perspectives of your employees. Ipsos has created an innovative online research tool offering real-time, direct access to employee insights on an ongoing basis.
The online methodology is flexible and cost-efficient, and in itself communicates to employees that individual voices
matter to your organization.
Three Key Benefits
1. Immediate, Real-time Results
Better Workplace Panels offer real-time direct access to panelists as polling and discussion takes place. You will see initial results within a day of posting your questions to the panel.
Automatically generated detailed tables, charts and graphs allow for easy interpretation of results.
2. Year-round Employee Touch Points
New surveys can be launched to your staff within one day of finalizing the questionnaire.
This allows you to obtain timely feedback from employees whenever a need arises within the organization. Survey topics may relate to day-to-day tasks and concerns such as worklife balance, and corporate initiatives designed to improve wellness. Employee panelists will be confident that their opinions are heard.
3. Cost Effective
Our clients are able to stretch research dollars by fielding up to 12 brief custom surveys per year directly to employees.
The outcome is targeted custom research, but with significant savings over traditional approaches.
How Does It Work?
Step 1: Staging Employees
Simply provide an initial file of basic HR information to create a record for each employee in the system (a minimum of 100 and up to 5,000 records).
Recommended fields to include are: email address, age, gender, years of service and position. Study results can then be reported on using these variables. Updating of the database occurs at regular intervals.
Step 2: Designing Surveys (6-12 per year)
Ipsos researchers work in consultation with clients to design close-ended and open-ended questions that meet their information needs for each survey. Each survey is between 5 and 20 questions in length. Ideal topics for Better Workplace Panels include all elements of employee well being, such as:
- Working conditions
- Work arrangements
- Level and causes of stress
- Recognition and rewards (employee benefits, bonuses and incentives)
- Skill development.
Step 3: Collecting the Information
The questionnaire is posted onto your proprietary, branded Better Workplace Panel website and participants are invited
via email to login and respond to the topic. A study can be asked to the entire panel or targeted to a specific sub-group of interest.
Step 4: Viewing the Results
As soon as the questions have been posted on the panel, responses can be observed as the polling and discussion take place. Furthermore, clients can view user-friendly results online with drill-down capabilities to examine different segments of interest.
Privacy Protection and Confidentiality
Ipsos has long-standing experience dealing with client lists and confidential information through our Loyalty research practice.
For the company -
Powered by Ipsos' proprietary IAF software, this unique platform provides a reliable and secure method of collecting and storing sensitive research data. Access points to the data are controlled to safeguard
privacy, as only Ipsos researchers and approved HR staff members have login authority to the reporting system.
For the employee -
Ipsos holds individual responses confidential and only reports on aggregate results.
This gives employees the confidence to provide honest and direct opinions on sensitive HR topics. In discussion forums,
participants are identified only by generic pin numbers to ensure individual privacy.
Price
For organizations with 100 to 5,000 employee panelists, we are pleased to offer an all-inclusive price of $40,000 per year for up to 5 surveys, of $50,000 for 6 to 12 surveys.*
*Custom pricing for panels of more than 5,000 employees is also available.
Incentives for participation are not recommended and not included in the project price.
