Washington, DC – A new Ipsos poll of college football fans shows Florida as the #1 team in the country after defeating Oklahoma in the BCS championship game. Florida was the consensus top choice and was selected #1 by fans in each of the four regions. However, in contrast with the AP Poll, which had Utah #2, and the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, which had USC #2, the fans voted Texas as the second best team in the nation.

Washington, DC – A new Ipsos poll of college football fans shows Alabama retaining its spot as the number one team in the country after beating Auburn. Florida moves up to the second spot after defeating Florida State, while Oklahoma and Texas round out the top 4.

The Texas Longhorns remained the number one ranked college football team in America after defeating Oklahoma State. However, with a win over top 10 Ohio State in Columbus, Penn State received the top ranking by fans in the Midwest and Northeast regions.
