Overlapping Trust in NDP and BC Liberals

The table below examines the overlap in trust between the NDP and the BC Liberals. The results clearly demonstrate the polarity in views of these two parties. Only 3% of British Columbians say they agree that they trust both Adrian Dix and the NDP AND Christy Clark and the BC Liberals. Ten times as many voters (29%) say they trust neither party.

These are the findings of an Ipsos Reid poll of 500 adult British Columbians conducted online using Ipsos Reid’s national online household panel between May 6 and May 7, 2013. These data were statistically weighted to ensure the sample's regional and age/sex composition reflects that of the actual BC population according to 2011 Census data. The precision of Ipsos online polls is measured using a credibility interval. In this case, the poll is accurate to within +/- 5.- percentage points had all BC adults been surveyed.
