Political Polling in California: Wave 3

Washington, DC - The California senate race remains close, with Democratic candidate Barbara Boxer on 46% and her Republican opponent Carly Fiorina on 45%. The Democrats have a small but consistent lead in the Gubernatorial race, with Jerry Brown on 48% to Meg Whitman's 44%.

The 'Enthusiasm Gap' remains large in California, with 81% of Republicans 'certain to vote' compared to just 65% of Democrats.

Californians are also notably unhappy with the way things are working in their state, with 77% believing that things are on the wrong track (this rises to 89% among Republicans).
