Join Ipsos OTX MediaCT as we host another Digital LA panel event entitled "Social Games and Virtual Currency" in our LA office Headquarters. By attending this session, you will hear from a panel of seasoned experts discuss the rise of social games, and how virtual goods are a key revenue model for games like Farmville, etc. The panel will also discuss virtual currency: when nothing is really something. Real attention and cash are being spent on virtual currency, and real growth and cachet for businesses and brands are resulting from its use. You will also hear about in-game incentives for virtual goods, what works and doesn't, and how entertainment, gaming companies, and researchers are using virtual currency.
Panel speakers include:
- David Stewart, Playdom, Senior Director of Product
- Yvonne Ip, Ignited, Media Supervisor, worked on Zynga – Universal Home Entertainment campaign for Public Enemies
- Brett Brewer, AdKnowledge, President. Created programs for 20th Century Fox, including the Australian theatrical release of I Love you Beth Cooper and Tooth Fairy
- Jason Crilly, Appocalypse Interactive, Owner. Created movie/entertainment games for Share Your Secrets for Anchor Bay Films and Loyalty vs. Duty for Overture Films
