Position Summary

We are offering an entry level position in which a successful candidate can grow in experience and responsibility. The Research Associate will assist in the management of Ipsos’ US and Canadian Omnibus offerings. The US and Canadian omnibus products are scheduled surveys which include studies from different clients on topics ranging from advertising research to market research to social opinion and political polling.

You have a reputation for creativity, attention to detail and strategic insight in the delivery of research services. You enjoy working in a team environment, have strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and are highly motivated to succeed. In addition, you have a passion for public opinion research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management:  Coordinating market research studies including project scheduling, coordination and implementation
  • Preparation of proposals, delivering research design and methodological advice to our clients and questionnaire design
  • Performing data analysis, interpretation and verification
  • Preparation of reports and presentations
  • Client relationship management
  • Internal and external client interaction
  • Monitoring political surveys on current events

 Ideal Candidate has the following Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in quantitative research methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed & possessing a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines.
  • Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Capable of working under minimal supervision with a high level of initiative, energy & enthusiasm for learning.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills are necessary; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • French or Spanish skills would be nice to have, but not required.
