VP/Dir – Client Service – IIS – REQ # 2980

Position Summary

The Client Service Director/VP is responsible for building and supporting the IIS business strategy towards developing the online business of various business lines within Ipsos North America. Specifically, working in collaboration with the mangers of the production, panel and client service groups will design all incremental business development projects, and will be accountable for achieving departmental financial targets. The successful candidate will show a high degree of creativity in approaching business development, and a knack for gaining a deep understanding of client needs. Based on this thorough client understanding, s/he will identify new opportunities for IIS products and solutions. Reporting to the Senior VP of Client Service, this role is a part of a small specialized team of Client Service roles, functioning independently and collaborating when required, to service their client groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as the liaison between production and client service teams in managing large scale cross departmental research projects
  • Sees the big picture and challenge the status quo with the purpose to drive improvement and new service ideas
  • Negotiates effectively with multiple parties and makes quick decisions in observance of company's policies and client's interests

  • Very good understanding of the internet world and the latest trends in online social spaces
  • Possesses general digital prowess
  • An eagerness to continuously learn and improve oneself in the digital world modesty and knowledge sharing attitude are essential.
  • A natural group leader, as well as true team player
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to multitask and be flexible in the approach to work
  • Ability to work independently
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in managing complex client organizations in Market Research, Advertising, Social Science or other related fields.
  • University Degree
