Majid has close to 25 years experience in marketing research, starting his career in Eastern Canada with Tandemar Research (now Ipsos ASI). Majid moved to Vancouver in 1992 where he worked as Vice President of Farrell Research Group and introduced the concept of continuous advertising tracking to Western Canada. In 1996, Majid set up marketexplorers a company specializing in communications research, which was acquired by Ipsos ASI in July 2003.
Majid's expertise includes assessment of hundreds of communications campaigns covering varied sectors including package goods, technology, retailing, financial services, lotteries and gaming, and healthcare.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the American University of Beirut (Business-Economics - 1979), Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Concordia University in Montreal (focus on marketing communications - 1985), and a Certificate in Advertising from the University of Montreal (1988).
